Have you ever wondered what causes the northern lights? Or why Alaska has so many earthquakes? And so many volcanoes? Fairbanks-based scientist Dr Helena Buurman brings the natural world to life through informal talks that educate and entertain the inner scientist in all of us.

Presentations range from 60-90 minutes and can be customized depending on your interests and background. Available in a variety of locations around Fairbanks and the Alaska Interior. Suitable for ages 16+.
